Dr. Ayelign Tsehay – General Surgery Expert
Dr. Ayelign Tsehay is a renowned surgeon in Addis Ababa. He is a senior general surgeon at Girium Hospital whose expertise spans abdominal, colorectal, and gastrointestinal surgery. Dr. Tsehay completed his medical studies and residency training in Addis Ababa. He then went on to teach at St.Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College. He has a deep knowledge of various conditions affecting the digestive system, head, neck, cardiovascular, and endocrine system, as well as minimally invasive techniques like laparoscopy. In addition, he performs various emergency procedures for patients with appendicitis, a hernia, gallstones, or gunshot wounds.
Dr. Tsehay has written several papers on general surgery which are published in the Ethiopian Journal of Health Sciences. He is one of the most respected surgeons in Ethiopia because of his long experience and significant impact that he has brought to people’s lives in Ethiopia.
