Dr. Asim Jamal Shaikh is the best Medical Oncologist in Nairobi. He serves in the Aga Khan University Hospital as Chief of the Medical Oncology Division. He received the best training in internal medicine and residency at Liaquat Medical University of Health Sciences, Jamshoro, Pakistan. From 2006 to 2009, I undertook a Graduate Fellowship in Medical Oncology at Aga Khan University in Karachi. He is more interested in teaching medical oncology, cancer molecular, cancer pharmacotherapy, internal medicine, and cancer epidemiology screening and prevention. Dr Asim is highly interested in oncology, general medical oncology, breast cancer, and gastrointestinal cancer research.
Dr Asim is actively involved in radiation oncology for solid tumour removal treatments. He has published many genomic and clinical aspects of Kenyan and East African women with breast cancer. Dr Asim has international collaboration for oncology research, which UICC granted. He has established a medical oncology fellowship program at the Aga Khan University in Nairobi.
