Dr. Mubashir Mahmood Qureshi, a prominent neurosurgeon, is the Head of Neurosurgery at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (M.B.B.S.) in Neurology from the University of Nairobi, where he also gained recognition as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr. M M Qureshi furthered his education at the same institution, completing a Master of Medicine (In Surgery) specializing in Neurology.
Dr. M M Qureshi is a prominent figure in the field, holding leadership positions in several neurosurgical organizations. He is the Chairman of the Neurological Society of Kenya and the President of the Continental Association of African Neurological Societies (C.A.A.N.S.). His international engagements include serving as the W.F.N.S. Neuroendoscopy Co-Chairman, W.F.N.S. Foundation Executive Board Member, and Vice President for the N.E.D. in the Africa region. Dr. Qureshi’s commitment to advancing neurosurgical education is evident through his role as a W.F.N.S.
