Frequency Ablation Surgery in Lagos
An RF catheter is implanted into a blood vessel and directed into the heart after an EP analysis to locate the origins of irregular electrical signals. These catheters were used to apply a low-voltage, high-frequency current to the heart tissue that was causing the arrhythmia. The majority of people who have had catheter ablation report either a return to normal heart rhythm or a long-term drop in the number of arrhythmia episodes and duration of symptoms. Following active catheter ablation, medications for regulating heart rate or rhythm may be stopped or decreased.
