Vasectomy Reversal Surgery in Lagos
Vasectomy is a small procedure that prevents sperm from touching the ejaculated semen. Semen also remains, but it is devoid of sperm. The testes continue to produce sperm after a vasectomy, but they are absorbed by the liver.
The sperm route to the semen is reconnected after a vasectomy reversal. The cut ends of the vas are usually reattached. The ends of the vas are also attached to the epididymis. These procedures can be carried out under a microscope (“microsurgery”). Sperm will once again circulate into the urethra after the tubes are joined.
