She later proceeded to adolescent and pediatrics at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) to acquire the necessary skills and passion for child care. To enhance her specialization, she attained a fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology from the Frontier Lifeline Hospital in Chennai, India.
