Dr. Zenebe Gedlie Damtie
Dr. Zenebe Gedlie Damtie is a famous neurosurgeon in Ethiopia who has performed many successful surgeries, and patients give positive reviews of the results. He earned his medical degree from the Higher Medical Sciences of Santiago de Cuba & Havana. After that, he gained a deep interest in neurosurgery. So he completed his specialization studies in it and started practicing at the top hospitals in Ethiopia.
Dr. Damtie is a highly qualified and experienced neurosurgeon in Addis Ababa who established the first epilepsy clinic in Ethiopia. This resulted in him being a member of the Epilepsy Support Association Of Ethiopia. He was presented with an educational grant by the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) Commission on Education and Developing Countries in 1996. Thereby, he actively spearheaded various Global Campaign initiatives.
In his role as a leading member of the Organising Committee for the African Renaissance epilepsy conference in South Africa in 2002, he contributed significantly toward skill formation policies in the country. In addition, Dr. Damtie has been an integral part of the editorial committee member of EPILEPSY and the IBE African Commission, whose mission is to make Epilepsy a health priority.
Presently, Dr. Damtie is also associated with the Christmas International Brain & Spine Hospital. As an executive director of the neurosurgery hospital, he has a great track record of brain surgery, tumor surgery, and effective treatment of neurological problems.
