Baby Hannatu, Nigeria’s first ever test tube baby i.e. by In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) technique (authenticated by the Federal Government of Nigeria), was delivered in Nisa hospital in February 1998.
Since then, over 2000 IVF babies have been delivered in this hospital.

Dr. Ibrahim Wada (OON), was born in Anyigba, Kogi State on 19th August, 1957. He had his earlier education at Roman Catholic School, Dekina, St. Charles College, Ankpa and Government Secondary School, Dekina where he finished as the best graduating student in 1974.
