Currently NHIF Insurance Covers only 20 Radiation Therapy sessions per patient per year. Any Kenyan citizen with valid NHIF insurance can avail twenty Radiotherapy sessions in Private or Government hospitals in Kenya.

Currently NHIF Insurance Covers only 2 Brachytherapy sessions per patient per year. Any Kenyan citizen with valid NHIF insurance can avail two Brachytherapy sessions in Private or Government hospitals in Kenya.

NHIF Cancer Statistics

Number of new Cancer Patients in Kenya: 55,000 / Year.

Every year minimum of 55,000 Kenyan citizens are diagnosed with Cancer. Cancer Diagnosis is done both private and Government hospitals.

NHIF Prostate Cancer Patients: Every year 5,000 Patients are diagnosed with Prostate cancer in Kenya.

NHIF Cancer Coverage Limits
