About Kampala Hospital

Kampala Hospital (KHL) is a private hospital located in Uganda. The hospital is a specialist hospital and diagnostic center. It was the first hospital in Uganda to install MRI and CT Scanner machines. KHL is been opened in 2007 and for the first 5 years, it was the only hospital to provide these services. It provides full laboratory services. The hospital is still expanding to provide more specialized services and increase the bed capacity. In 2000, a community thought about a hospital opening because people are traveling to other countries to treat their illnesses. Then a number of physicians, business people, surgeons, and community leaders came up with the idea to open a private hospital in Kampala to address the quality of care and offer medical services to the people in Uganda.

Since the opening of the hospital, Kampala Hospital offers services such as Laboratory, Outpatient care, Inpatient, and Radiology. KHL treated over 100,000 outpatients and 8500 admissions. In addition, children born around 3400, Theatre procedure for 6500 patients, and CT scan around 19500. It also provides various types of specialties such as Orthopedics, Medical Oncology, Urology, etc. KHL has Consultants, specialists, and clinical teams that work together to provide life-changing services. It is also known for its extensive and leading-edge diagnostic imaging. Kampala Hospital is a member of the “Hospital Holding Investment” since 2014.
